Spaniel Open Trial Results 2025

The Society held its Open AV Spaniel Trial (excluding Cockers) at Checkley Wood by kind permission of Mr Ivor Beavis. 

Our Judges were Trevis Crothers and Ben Randall.

1st Shalloakwest React of Spanbella handled by Steve Brewer

2nd Pippenmoor Super Storm handled by Kelly Hill

3rd Hagghouse Marody of Throstlegill handled by Andrew Corry

4th Rioman Lucy of Spanbella also handled by Steve Brewer

Spaniel Novice Trial Results 2025

Results of the 16 dog AV Novice Spaniel Trial held at Checkley Wood on 10th December 2025.

Thank you to Ivor Beavis, to our two judges Mr E Elwick and Mr S Brewer, and the Guns.

All the dogs worked very hard in some quite dense cover in the woods, but there was no award for first. The Silver Cockerel Trophy was awarded for Second Place to ESS Sharmesvale Earthshaker handled by L. Marson. 

Certificates of Merit were awarded to Mulraven Menage, M A Moreno; Griffinwell Angus Monty, S.Brooks; Leightonbeck Peregrine, C Dearden; Cornermarsh Ventura, E Hervey.
